Mary McKeon, 60, passed away May 17, 2017.

She was born July 15, 2017, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Norma Jean Giltner.  She was raised in Kalamazoo.  She moved to Indianapolis with her husband, Greg, in 1993.  She loved Halloween, and was a part of the Indianapolis Sinister League.  She was also very active with A Critter’s Chance, and loved taking in animals.  She loved Coor’s Light and always had some at home.  She had many creative hobbies like gardening, playing in the yard, and she was a brilliant artist.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Greg; children, Autumn Giltner and Adam and Joshua McKeon; grandchildren, Charles, Adam, and Haylee; sister, Nancy Giltner; nephew, Randy.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeannie; and her parents.

Friends and family may gather from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday May 24, 2017, at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, with a memorial service to begin at 3:00 p.m.

    I was so sad to hear this, I knew Mary thru her work with A Critters Chance. Mary was amazing lady who loved her opossums and birds etc. She hadn’t been active for a while with the group, but she was a wonderful lady who loved the animals and her family. God bless you Mary and her family.
